History, memory and access
The permanent holdings comprise documents and case files dating from the 17th to the 20th centuries, including records from the colonial period. These sources hold historical, cultural, evidential and informational value, supporting academic studies, institutional research and a deeper understanding of Sergipe’s society.
The permanent holdings are being digitized and gradually made available through AtoM. This work expands research opportunities and contributes to the preservation of original records and the memory of the Judiciary.
